What's Happened?

On Monday 22nd August, Merseyrail have made the decision to change the time table at Bromborough Rake and Green lane train stations, meaning that these stations will be serviced every 30 minutes. No other stations on this line will be affected by the change. This will affect many passengers who use these stations daily and will be inconvenienced, mainly our most vulnerable.

Bromborough Rake is a disabled access station whereas the two adjacent stations on the line are not.  This means disabled customers have no choice but to wait. These stations will only be served by the Ellesmere Port line train, meaning that customers wishing to travel to stations after Hooton on the Chester line will have to change at Hooton, adding unessecary time to their journey.

Merseyrail have stated that to help run a more reliable and timely service cutting out these two "lesser used stations" will affect the least amount of people. However why are some people more deserving of a more frequent service than others and yet still have to pay the same price?

If you are against these changes then please do sign as soon as possible.
